Any New Moon signals a time to seed something new. While in Quicksilver Gemini, the New Moon asks us to discover what’s new within ourselves, and ask that eternal question: Why?

That’s ok. I’ll give you some examples that hopefully help you clear the static (Gemini Shadow) and feel inspired (Gemini Light).
Purpose of the Moment – That’s a task at hand. A 15 minute meditation soothes your soul. A cup of tea slakes thirst and can calm you. Completing your morning workload satisfies your boss – even if that is you!
Purpose of the Day – That’s the thing you may be looking forward to, say lunch with a friend, or dreading, such as a dental appointment. (So sorry to all my dentist, hygienist, and other dental field related friends, but you know it’s true.)
I Get It Now
The Why of it helps you focus and discover grace and gratitude. The What keeps you on a path. You can walk that path to be Gemini Original and birth new ideas, do something a different way.

Your New Moon Moment
Although this is published on June 15, the New Moon influence still pulses through.
Spend a bit of time rerunning a typical morning in your mind. What was habitual, automatic, but necessary? How can you recover curiosity and joy in these repetitive, simple chores?
Ask the New Moon to help you rediscover your different levels of purpose and to keep checking in with yourself when you get numb, bored or resentful of the routines of life.
Make It Fun
Invent a game to stimulate conscious interest and shift out of monotony.
One of mine is Sound Effects and Embellishments. I make a buzzing noise and actually shimmy when running the blender – shimmy shimmy! – or a grand flourish when setting the cat food down – Ta DA!
Alternatively, if you know you are deeply present with each moment, then this New Moon energy gifts you with even higher joy and gratitude for all that you have and do in your life.
