Heart Healing Solar Eclipse

Invite profound heart healing during this Aquarius New Moon Solar Eclipse. Although you won’t see the actual eclipse (unless you are in Antarctica or the very tip of South America) you are most likely already feeling this progressive Black Moon shift of the Divine Feminine.
I’VE BEEN FEELING SOMETHING!
The Lunar Eclipse on January 31, 2018 revealed the beating heart of the Mother within all of us. The Blood Moon brought to light how our natural urge to embrace life and share love has been restricted, even damaged, through painful experiences and antiquated traditions. Shadow feelings of pain, rage, grief and guilt flew out of Pandora’s box and have continued make their presence known.
OH SING IT, SISTER!
This Aquarius Solar Eclipse helps us understand and accept our outer Sun Self and our inner Moon Consciousness.
BRING IT ON!
This is a highly active phase where your heart and your head vie for dominance. What you think is what you feel, and vice versa.
NEW MOON SOLAR ECLIPSE CEREMONY
This can be done anytime you can arrange to do so during the next few days. The actual New Moon occurs February 15 at 1:04 pm San Diego time. You can use the time zone converter link below to calculate the time in your area.
Arrange a sacred space with heart-pleasing symbols and sensations such as fragrant flowers (rose recommended!), gentle textures (nubbly scarves, soft sitting pillow), soothing sounds (running water, birds singing, flute music) and healing crystals (rose quartz, malachite).
Light a candle.
Smudge yourself.
Open your Sacred Space in your personal tradition.
Place your hands over your solar plexus chakra. Imagine the Sun burning brilliantly within you! Notice the constant outpouring of energy, the never-ending power and light.
Now move your hands to your heart chakra. See the Moon within your heart. Feel her absolute truth of hot sun side and freezing shadow side and the crisp, burning frostbite of the sharp edge between.
Spend a little time with your Heart, your shadow and light feelings.
In your mind’s eye imagine the Moon gradually slides in front of the Sun. Slowly drag your hands down from your heart to your solar plexus as you do this.
HEART HEALING MEDICINE
Now the Sunlight is blocked by the Moon. But, watch carefully as a halo appears. The blade-like edge between darkness and light melts to create a unique, blending dance of excitement, creation, and discovery!
You find your heart healing medicine in that halo. Let it wash over your entire being. As it penetrates, allow one of your hands drift back up to your heart and cycle that heart healing, halo medicine between the two chakras.
In that moment you see/feel the presence of a shamanic guide: a power animal, a helping spirit, an ancestor. Notice any messages that flow to and through you. Maybe even Gaia shows up to reconnect your roots and bring fresh love to your heart!
Be with the eclipse awareness as long as you like.
When complete, thank all who showed up for you and your personal spiritual allies. You may make an offering appropriate for you. I plan to give water to the Earth as mine.
Close sacred space.
Be your own best Valentine and keep your altar up as long as you like to remind you of this heart healing experience.
