Depending upon how you measure the Nodes (true or mean), we have a tight Grand Trine in Fire at the exact moment of the New Moon, June 23 7:33 pm Pacific Time (UTC-7).

It’s like a Fiery Arrow Head pointing AWAY from the past toward the future! Basically, this is the Get Over It New Moon! Redirect your emotion ocean toward what feels good and leave the past islands of grief behind.

The Wet and Wild Cancer New Moon delves into all your feelings, including the shadows, and all the power we’ve trapped there. Take a look at the current state of your heart. What’s going on?

Well, it really began last night as Earthy Goddess Goodness Venus and Dark King Pluto ratcheted up the sexual tension. The potential for powerful transformation translates through sacred sexuality.

Whatever your preference, let body awareness elevate then ground you as the Cancer Moon works her magic and continues to stir up feelings from the darkest depths.

Acknowledge ‘em, feel ‘em, and move through ‘em!

You may have experienced jarring dreams overnight and wake up wondering where you are (and, indeed, where ARE you?). You are here. The time is now. Make a note of it!

After some careful examination of the many rivers of the heart you have a much better map and, more importantly, acceptance of who you are NOW as Wounded Healer Chiron and the Cancer Moon team up to soothe you.

Then the Moon moves into I Feel Awesome Leo – Heart Party! – and Mars and Neptune open up a dimensional gateway for us to launch through into next week. Our Joy Meters ramp up!

Bathe in the abundant flow of the Wet and Wild Cancer New Moon.

  • Smudge with flicks of water. Adding an essential oil is a plus!
  • Set sacred space by inviting your spiritual allies to surround you.
  • Sit on the ground, if possible.
  • Close your eyes, breathe your roots into the Earth.
  • Travel into your heart.
  • Ask to see the darkest waters, the deepest abyss.
  • Let the shadows expand into the glassy surface of an obsidian ocean.
  • Feel the surface tension like impenetrable glass.
  • Beneath the surface, sea demons of your dark feelings roil.
  • They want out.
  • Breathe into them. Go deeper. Let yourself feel their intensity, the power.
  • In the sky in your heart, you see the many stars. You see the dark outline of the New Moon.
  • Take a deep breath.
  • Imagine yourself leaping up, grabbing for those bright stars, the mysterious dark moon.
  • And you fall, breaking through the glass surface of your obsidian sea!
  • The light of the stars follows you like bubbles, illuminating the darkness around you, and the feelings escape from your frozen ocean, boiling out everywhere.
  • As they do, each feeling is pierced by the starlight and transforms.
  • The intensity slowly subsides.
  • And the dark ocean is peaceful.
  • Breathe yourself back to the surface.
  • Then breathe yourself back to your body.
  • Now the ocean surface laps lazily.
  • Salty waves caress you.
  • The tingles persist even as you open your eyes.

Give thanks to the Moon and your spiritual allies.

Close sacred space.
