NEW MOON MADNESS – Annular Solar Eclipse June 10, 2021
New Moon Madness reveals itself peripherally just like the “Outer You” Sun’s corona peeks around the “Inner You” Moon in its utter darkness. Sometimes called “The Ring Of Fire”, the effect is caused by the Moon being a bit farther from us this time, so it can’t block the whole Sun when they align.

THANKS! WHY NEW MOON MADNESS?
The intensity of energy as we traverse this latest Eclipse Transformation Tunnel has been extreme. Those not surrendering to temper tantrums and uncharacteristically questionable behavior are likely withdrawing into a stimulus-avoidance haze.
Now we reach a perfect storm of Gemini Lightning all on June 10, 2021 at 3:52 am Pacific Time!
Sun conjunct Moon – that’s the New Moon, a cycle reset. We begin a new dream awakening.
Annular Eclipse – Sun, Distant Moon and Earth align perfectly, so the Moon partially blocks the Sun. A great starting point with extra sparkle. And we complete the eclipse cycle begun May 26 on the Full Moon.
Conflicts (Squares) – Stern Task Master Saturn vs Rebel Genius Uranus. Their year-long struggle between have to and want to attains a new peak of dynamic tension on June 14th.
~ Mercury vs Neptune – Yikes! Mixed messages and misleading signs and dreams.
~ Love Goddess Venus vs Wounded Healer Chiron – “I thought I was OVER that!” Copious tears follow. You probably are, it’s just stress. We often leak from our eyes when we are overwhelmed. I know I do!
Shadow Powers – in the Eclipse Darkness, Black Moon Lilith balances (trines) with Dark Lord of Transformation Pluto and activates (sextiles) with Neptune, who activates with Pluto – what a were-wolf sexy ménage-a-trois!
That’s So Much!
AND – Mercury, retrograde in his home sign of Gemini, reaches the Midpoint. The beginning, end and midpoint are often the most intense days of a retrograde. Whatever your retrograde issues are they really poke at you during the Eclipse!
Overall, the complexity of energies (yes, it grows even deeper and more extensive) invites you to receive information and energetic gifts without judgement. You can keep it or toss it, just don’t arbitrarily “no” something away. The relevant will feed and expand you, while the “not my stuff” tends to make you contract. That’s how you’ll know.
New Moon Madness creates a false urgency. I’d be very disinclined to make major decisions or relationship choices. Stay on your message, your path, and the veils won’t drop over you.
