Chiron enters Taurus ~ June 19 2026
As a minor planet/Comet located between Saturn and Uranus, Wounded Healer Chiron is said to affect the collective.
But he has a very personal influence upon each of us over a longer period of time.
He is a blessed (Great Teacher & Healer) and cursed (his Wound never heals) Centaur (that’s what icy objects in that orbit are called) has spent nearly 8 years in Fiery Aries.
For us, that means we’ve been burning through masks and playing roles to learn how we really wanted to be perceived.
Chiron in Aries assisted us as we discovered and personally defined what it means to be authentic.
We broke through the self-delusion fog and extracted other people’s stories of who we are. What’s next?
Now, Chiron enters Earthy Taurus, and the Fires that forged us become the New Earth. The grounded thing to do is to accept ourselves, bumps, flaws and all, and sink our roots in.
Our new focus is on the rebuilding of our resources, working out our money issues, and finding “Home,” whatever that looks like.
And Food – we crave and enjoy our food! Literally, and whatever we consume – music, news, information, art – and did I mention food?
Through our healing with Chiron, we will be rebuilding our foundations.
You may have been feeling homesick, that sense of missing the place where you feel comfortable and comforted, where you can finally belong, open your energy, and relax.
This moodiness may have been especially strong over the past few days. Earth is feeling it, too! So many earthquakes, earthquake swarms, and general Earth changes can be expected to continue, due, in part, to this and other big transits this year.
We have about 8 years where this “lonely for home” theme can arise again and again as a poignant focus for ourselves, and for the world.
But I won’t get into that right now .
Resisting Change
All this Earth element focus pokes at our shadow feelings, too, as Chiron moves into Taurus. Since we are in Mercury Retroshade, the emotional effects linger through July as Mercury travels through Deep Feels Cancer.
Yeah, things are about to get MORE, ah, interesting.
