The Aquarius Full Super Moon brightly illuminates possibilities, plays and perils as we roar through the 8/8 Lion’s Gate and Nodal Shift activation.
GEE, THAT’S A MOUTHFUL
And a brain-filling, and a heart-overwhelming situation!
“I Have A Vision” Aquarius Moon, very close in orbit to the Earth and therefore called a Super Moon, highlights the group consciousness, while “Look At Me” Leo Sun shines from the heart of personal soul identification, aka ego.
As these two powerful archetypes pull upon each other from across the sky, we feel the internal stirrings of our relationship with ourselves, our egos. Most of us, especially empaths and sensitives, also vibrate with the currently quite agitated world collective. It’s been an exhausting time.
SO HOW CAN THIS FULL MOON BE HELPFUL?
Let Me Super Size That For You Jupiter squares (challenges) the Sun and Moon. Currently moving through “I Wanna Feel Good” Taurus, Jupiter provides a beneficial pivot point for separating personal from group issues. Where have you lost yourself in endless reflection or toxic distractions? He helps you start isolating and identifying what’s important for you to focus upon and set the rest aside.
After all, how does freaking out about the world, or your own situation, help anything?
BUT PART OF ME IS FREAKING OUT!
Love Goddess Venus, currently retrograde in “I Wanna Roar” Leo, holds another pivot point in the form of a Finger Of God, a Yod. That’s an elongated, acute triangle acting as a key to unlocking the current mysteries.
She’s at the apex of this pointy configuration, while Ascension or Addiction Neptune harmonizes with Dark Lord of Transformation Pluto to form the base. The three together activate the flow of creativity, creation, emotional release, and ultimately, powerful heart clearing by the destruction of illusions. NOT comfortable, but at times this surrender to shadow emotions is necessary to relieve the blockage that is stopping the flow of abundance and connection.
SO HAVE A GOOD CRY
Could be helpful! As we cry, or dance, or BOTH, under this Full Moon (11:31 am Pacific Time 8/1/23) Pluto is also exactly squaring the Destiny Path North and Karmic South Nodes. The Nodes are about the general direction we as a collective are traveling, and they shift every 18 ½ months.
They just moved from a more stuff-centric Taurus/Scorpio theme to the relationship focused Aries/Libra axis.
Pluto takes apart any weakness in the structure of our relationship to ourselves and to each other. This amplifies the impact of this nodal shift.
Under the bright inquiry of the higher perspective Aquarius Moon, we are further compelled to examine how we relate to the world around us, and how we want to participate.
With the burning roar of the Leo Sun, we are also required to pay attention to how we show up for ourselves as well as others.
SERIOUSLY, GONNA CRY
Warrior God Mars in “Be Of Service Virgo” trines (favorably balances with) Jupiter, asking you to own the gravitas of your unique presence in the world. For example, how has your love, support and compassion made a difference? You know it has!

Supercharge yourself with the potent change energy stirred up with this Full Moon. This isn’t so much about taking any overt actions so much as making time for yourself and your personal work. Set intentions for discovering the truth beneath the facades, the gold beneath the tarnish, your desires beneath your “settled for’s.”
You are worth it. And, when you are done shining yourself up, you are going to glow…
