Leaky Mercury Retrograde in Oceans of Emotions Pisces reveals the leaks in your emotional system. We’ve been in the Pre-Shadow since February 11. Issues that have arisen in that time will be under review as Messenger Mercury Stations Retrograde (appears to stop and reverse direction) on February 25, 2026.
What’s Leaky About This Retrograde?
Messenger Mercury doesn’t thrive in Oceans of Emotions Pisces; in fact, it’s in “detriment”, meaning it is truly stressed. This is on top of the usual Mercury Retro issues with communications, travel, commerce, electronics and appliances, and messages of all types, from texts to emails to vital conversations.
When Retrograde in Pisces, Mercury adds a messy, all over the place quality to the experience. You are either overfull with emotions, or flooding out and over the other people in your life, or both, even more so during this time.

How Do We Bail Ourselves Out?
Shamanic Suggestions: Get in right relationship with the Water Element and your own self care. Gentle practices daily are highly recommended! I will ALWAYS suggest a regular Fire Ceremony.
Journal before communicating. Give your hurricane level emotions a place to release some intensity so you don’t blow anyone away and forfeit a chance to have a deeper talk.

Do you absorb other’s feelings? Work on your personal energetic hygiene and boundaries. Smudge yourself. Ask your Shamanic Allies to help you keep the energy around you clear.
