This weekend, the Personal Alchemy Sagittarius New Moon, 3I/Atlas Earth approach, and the Galactic Center Convergence catalyze with the Capricorn Solstice reset.
Dec 19, 2025 at 5:43 PM PST the New Moon arrives 36 hours before the Solstice at 28° Sagittarius,. Interstellar object 3I/Atlas, coming to us from the general direction of Sagittarius, reaches its closest point to Earth. During this time our solar system is aligned with the Galactic Center (27° Sagittarius). There is so much happening here. How do we make sense of it for ourselves?

Let’s make it about you. And all this information overload gets in the way of that.
Keeping It Simple
Shoot for the Stars Sagittarius likes to explore, learn something new, do something different. Let’s build on that! But, the heaviness of the energy around us, though, can have you feeling stuck. You could be feeling unclear or unmotivated about expressing yourself and your desires.
If you are an empath, maybe you are simply overwhelmed.
Give Yourself A Break
Take the negative self talk and stories and set them aside for a bit. How do you really want your Personal Alchemy to bring change into your life?
The Personal Alchemy New Moon is directly between Love Goddess Venus and God of War Mars. Venus is still in Sagittarius and is on fire with wild desires and in-the-moment passion. Mars, however, just entered Keep It Real Capricorn, kind of a buzz-kill for the lively Venusian energy but a real positive for getting focused, feeling empowered, and accomplishing all the things.
There’s a balance between the two that helps you refine and get going on what you have been dreaming for, secretly, in your heart.
Saturnian Wisdom
During this New Moon Venus squares (challenges) Stern Taskmaster Saturn. So, again, you could feel impatient, unmet, perhaps unseen. Watch for being overly reactive to truly innocent comments or actions. You may also notice other people having the same sensitivity.
Cosmic Shifts – Personal Alchemy
Our interstellar visitor brings an unexpected, Alien energy – so very Rebel Genius Uranus. Right now, Uranus is in a sextile (favorably activation) with Ascension or Addiction Neptune. Both planets are at the final degrees of their signs, stirring up the “time is running out” and “this is what the shadows look like” undercurrents of fear, impatience and anxiety.
Channel the big feels into a fresh openness to change (Uranus) and track the light from which the Shadow is cast (Neptune).
3I/Atlas Arrival
3I/Atlas makes its closest approach to Earth during this New Moon.
Personally, I understand this ancient traveller as a type of purposeful nomad, bringing us messages, and carrying ours away. What we do with them is up to us. Unusual aspects of 3I/Atlas, such as its close angle to our own ecliptic plane, and how it happens to be closest to us on the New Moon, lend to the mystery and theories about what it is and why it is here.
Knowing the “why” of things is a seductive desire. It distracts us from deeper processing. You aren’t really in control or even satisfied when you get a meaningless answer, like “42” in Hitchhiker’s Guide To The Galaxy. (go look it up if you are curious!) Such a Sagittarian lesson!
Let Me Super Size That For You Jupiter, ruler of Sagittarius, can help us point our arrows in a better direction. Jupiter is extra influential right now for so many reasons, adding to the grandness of it all, but also offering a lofty goal: Get more focused on who we are, and then dare to ask, “what’s out THERE?”

Plant the Seeds – Sagittarius New Moon
If you are reading this you know the New Moon is a time to initiate a new project, dream, course of action, anything you’d like to infuse with all the potential of the Moon starting a fresh cycle.
Convergence with the Galactic Center and Capricorn Solstice exponentially build that personal alchemy potential.
And, if you are like me, that project isn’t ready yet. I love my plans, yet haven’t got them ready to go…and this New Moon really isn’t favorably placed in my chart.
That’s ok! I’ll infuse the potency into a crystal and some seeds, to be used at the appropriate time for my own Personal Alchemy.

The bigger picture will continue to unfold. How you live within it remains your very personal choice.
