Eclipse Portal Closing – Love Channels Opening
The Eclipse Portal closing completes a cycle of downloads, activation, and transformation.
And with the New Moon in Libra tomorrow – we emerge! ***See Ritual Below***
Venus and Neptune help our Love channels open. Neptune and Saturn continue to push us to seek our optimal form.
And Jupiter – well, The King of Empowerment endows us with a fresh infusion of light to see more clearly what can be so wonderful about ourselves and how to share it.

NEW MOON RITUAL
Butterfly Medicine
- Collect items that connect you personally to Butterfly. For some of us, that will also mean connecting with our ancestors. If that is the case, then include items that you associate with your immediate and/or long past ancestors, be it DNA or Soul Family.
- Create a beautiful altar with these items, plus a candle. Add in any other sacred objects and items you like to include in your rituals.
- Gather drawing materials such as markers, pastels or crayons and paper.
- Smudge
- Open Sacred Space (in your tradition)
- Draw a circle in the center of your paper.
- Draw at the 3 o’clock position a small circle, your egg. In this area, write down a few key words that relate to the Downloads you have received this summer, especially since August 18.
- Draw at the 6 o’clock position a small caterpillar. Now write – what has has Activated, opened up, shifted and changed as a result or catalyzed by these Downloads?
- Draw at the 9 o’clock position a chrysalis. Here you write about the effects of these changes. Did you move? Get a new job? Both? What in your life Transformed due to the Downloads?
- Draw at the 12 o’clock position a butterfly (glitter optional!). Emerge and open your Wings! Write about what you wish to share, and what you wish to attract in, as you celebrate the shifts and move into you next phase of life experience.
Add into this ritual anything else you feel connects you with the Libra New Moon energy.
Offer gratitude and close Sacred Space.
Keep this beautiful Butterfly Medicine Map up with your altar for the three days around the New Moon or until you feel complete.
