2016 …Here We Go!
The Shamanic Weather January 4, 2016
2016 is a Universal 9 year: completion, wisdom, insight and intuition, humanitarian outreach, and preparation for a new cycle at the end of the year.
And there is the potential for dipping into the Dark Side – dreamy disconnection, isolation, avoidance of shadow.
Lady Love Venus is more focused on the now – she’s soooo happy to be out of the stormy Scorpion seas to be warmed by the fires of Sagittarius, ready to pursue her new quest for sensation and knowledge. Dark Warrior Mars, however, is perfectly happy now to BE in Scorpio where he feels perfectly at home with absolute permission to brood and war monger.
And with Mercury going Retrograde January 4 to January 25, 2016, the tension of dissension is in the air.
Mercury Retrograde in Aquarius/Capricorn
We’ve got some complications right off: Dark Warrior Mars blindsides Humanitarian Messenger Mercury just as he comes to a standstill. It’s almost like he’s knocking Mercury into reverse motion!
Watch your words; perceive and dissolve confrontation before it escalates. Remember, the beginning, end and midpoint of a retrograde are the most intense days.
So, keep this careful awareness alive through the entire retrograde, but especially the next few days.
On January 8 Mercury moves into Capricorn. We can now focus better on getting down to business, organizing, and completing things. Clear direction for channeling the spiky energy comes online.
