Did big emotions cause you to swim within your shadow waters over the weekend? The predominance of Earth and Water elementals sometimes mix and make mud, and we get stuck in a quagmire of Yin.
YEAH, I DID THE SHADOW WATERS THING
Sometimes we have no choice, although we try to avoid the discomfort. What happens when you step into that vital emotional release and the tears just won’t stop? Or you decided to work on anger and you just get madder instead of more peaceful?
YEAH, WHAT HAPPENS?
We are frustrated, or afraid, or allow compensating addictions to reinstate themselves.
YEAH, I DID THAT, TOO.
In his book “Anger – Wisdom For Cooling The Flames,” Thich Nhat Hanh speaks of welcoming those shadow waters feelings into your living room like a welcome visitor. Hello fear! Welcome, grief! Please come sit down, have a cup of tea, and tell me why you are here.

HOW LONG DO THEY STAY?
Oh, until they’ve communicated and you’ve truly gotten the message.
Sure, emotions cycle through, and your mood will rise again, maybe in just five minutes! Fighting with them tends to make them stay longer.
Today there are positive aspects to support you as you continue to swim within your shadow waters. Remember that with Mercury Retrograde in full force communicating specifically about your shadow with another person, especially one very close to you, could get dicey. And Venus is also challenged in this regard. So, dive into your own emotion ocean and give your own shadow feeling visitors tea and sympathy.
