Lions Gate Activation
The Lions Gate Activation happens every year – but the energetic impact felt this year is off the charts! Anxiety, nausea, ecstasy, dizziness – we’ve had a visceral response to an energetic shift.
WHY IS THAT?
This shift is amplified by the Partial Lunar Eclipse that just occurred August 7, 2017. The Dark Shadows Lunar Eclipse during the Aquarius Full Moon opened an Eclipse Transformation Tunnel that keeps us shedding and transmuting right through to the Total Solar Eclipse New Moon in Leo on August 21, 2017.
THAT’S A LOT OF ENERGY!
Yes! Top billing on the energy charts:
- Aquarius Full Moon – activates current Leo/Aquarius nodal axis, Heart connection vs. Mind vision.

SO WHY DID I FEEL SO ______?
Call it spiritual motion-sickness, shamanic flu, energy overload – too much poured in for us to contain. Excessive energy, not enough wiring or capacity to carry it. Too many possibilities opened, our batteries overcharged, and our identity centers crashed. Where ever in your body you felt it, expect major healing to happen there in the next few weeks.
OH….
Yes. There was no way to prepare for this because it built like a tidal wave roaring out of control. We had no way to predict where it would make landfall.
DANG!
I’m sure some folks are fine, not feeling a thing. But I personally know lots of folks who are feeling at least one of the above mentioned physical discomforts. The lucky ones get a slice of ecstasy somewhere in the middle of all that.
SERIOUSLY, WHO CAN I BLAME?
That victimy stuff may be part of what has shaken loose for you to heal. Stepping through the Lions Gate Activation with strong intention for healing a specific thing or other choices for focus gives a clear direction for the momentum to take you.
WHAT IS A LIONS GATE?
The Lions Gate is a spiritual doorway that opens when Sirius, the brightest star in the sky, first emerges to visibility from the glowing aura of the Sun (helical rise). Sirius conjuncts (lines up with) the Sun around July 24, but we can’t see it again until it is far enough away from the Sun’s bright light, usually on August 8.
EYES GLAZING OVER HERE…
The Lions Gate Activation is a time when access to information beyond the veil amplifies. Since it happens in Leo, this means a Solar Plexus healing or upgrade – identity center!
OK, SO THAT MEANS I AM CHANGING…AGAIN…
Oh, did you want to be frozen in time? Never change? Of course not! In fact, when the change process is Full Moon/Eclipse/Uranus energetically enabled and supported, the results can be phenomenal.
I GIVE UP. WHAT SHOULD I DO?
- Use the cleansing and releasing process from the August 7 Shamanic Weather. You can do this more than once.

- Spend the pent up energy in a good run, long swim, fervent gardening, high-octane house cleaning, vigorous dancing or…shall we say coordinated couples Sacred Geometry?
- Bitch it out with friends. Moan, groan, whine and wail. Bang a drum or two.
- Tune out with deep meditation or indulgent binge watching.
And when you are ready, accept your Lions Gate Activation.
OOH – HOW DO I DO THAT?
— Smudge
— Open a sacred container around you by calling in your spiritual allies, Earth and Sky.
— Light a candle.
— Close your eyes and visualize the seven major chakras and the white column of light that joins them from Base to Crown in your body.
— Breathe roots into the Earth – feel the connection to the Medicine Wheel of the Earth.
— Place your hand over your Solar Plexus. (Bonus – hold a yellow calcite or citrine in that hand).
— Breathe into your Solar Plexus deeply and slowly.
— Take EIGHT breaths like this.
— With each breath, energy builds and your Solar Plexus grows brighter and brighter, a Sun within.
— Upon the Eighth breath, hold for a moment, then release up and out through the top of your head.
— Hear the Roar!
— Feel the “lid” burst open and energy pour out and up into the sky.
— Hear the answering Roar from beyond the Lions Gate.
— The sound becomes energy. Suck it in through your crown. It pours through like liquid light, glowing and potent, crystalline and pure.
— The download lands in your Solar Plexus, then transforms into pure light and blasts through your entire being.
— You may see images, hear voices, learn your new direction (if it must change), receive some sort of energetic enhancement or cool new spiritual tool you can geek out on!
— You may wish to Roar at this point.
— Then be quiet. Let your Soul speak to you. Hear the message.
— Let the silence stretch.
— Come back to a peaceful, relaxed state.
— You may feel a smile creep up the corners of your mouth.
— Just breathe until you feel complete.
Then come back. Open your eyes. Release your allies, blow out your candle.
You can repeat this process as often as you like. Three times is particularly magical.
Big energy requires big attention, and then you get to purr after…
