Although Love Goddess Venus just went direct in her beloved Catching My Breath Here Libra, her softening will be diminished by the rather noisy and hot energy of Messenger Mercury in Fire Arrows Sagittarius shooting off communication bombs left and right.
Consider it Astrological Fireworks over a parched emotional forest. There’s a good chance you could say the “wrong thing”, or someone could say it to you, and set your peace of mind aflame.
WAH!
And now that you know, you can give that Fiery Mercury Retrograde, “Did I Just Say That?” Incendiary flare plenty of space to burn out. Withhold heat, air, or fuel from fire and it dies. Don’t add anything to it!
WHEN DOES HELL THIS END?
Who told you life changes end? You cray-cray! Changes are speeding up even with the “hold off on new, let’s review” energy of any retrograde.

WHAT THE BLEEP DOES THAT MEAN?
The Dragon’s Head North Node can be said to represent where we are headed and is currently in Let’s Go Home Cancer. The Dragon’s Tail South Node, now in Get To Work Capricorn, is often referred to as the karma driving us forward.
So the Universal Karmic Focus is on self care, creating a heart home that supports our personal path. And that Anarchist Uranus really likes to point out the quantum changes possible!
Now, add This Fiery Mercury Retrograde overlapping Relieved Venus Direct energy! More personal focus! You can expect some revealing around what’s workin’ and what ain’t around:

- How you perceive others’ communications
- How you love
- How you receive others’ love
- What you think/say you want
- What you REALLY want

Denial is not just a river in Egypt (collective groan) but a sure way to get shot in the butt with one of those fiery arrows.

WHAT DO I DO THEN?
Well…I can tell you that I am putting Way More Space around anything I do through the end of the year. I’m inviting restorative, fun times, pleasing interactions with friends and spiritual family.
TRY THIS
Try writing down all your expectations for the next month. What you think you’d like to happen. What you think will happen. What you are worried will happen.
Then, please rip that all up. Envision a completely fresh paper, a blank slate, open space.
Now, invite THAT in.
I might do this exercise every morning as a spiritual practice for a bit.
THAT FEELS SO FREEING
Yup. When your response to any situation is to contract, apply expansion liberally. Repeat as needed.
We got this. Fiery Mercury Retrograde, here we come.
