Emotional and Passionate

We are still emotional and passionate as the Water Element continues to dominate, evoking highly emotional states all up and down the spectrum of feelings.
WHAT’S GREAT
The highs are awesome! Don’t you love that on top of the world feeling?
WHAT’S NOT
Those lows feel unnecessary. Surely we’ve had enough of those!
WHO CAN WE BLAME?
Hey, now, what kind of attitude is that? Ok, I’ll tell ya:
Chiron – Our Wounded Healer whipped up some serious turmoil over the weekend as he turned Retrograde in his watery, emotional and passionate home sign of Pisces.

The Sun – In an emotional and passionate water sign, Cancer.
The Moon – In In another emotional and passionate water sign, Scorpio.
VENUS AND CHIRON
These two sextile Monday afternoon. The Divine Feminine comes into a new grace with Her wounds. A woman (or a man really in touch with his feminine flow) may provide wise reflection and deeper healing for you! Or, you may be called upon to offer the healing!
AREN’T EMOTIONAL AND PASSIONATE THE SAME THING?
I was waiting for you to ask that! Yes, and no. Passion often includes that gut deep, sometimes angry, often pleasure-centric lightning flash. Emotional states are sometimes chronic or suppressed, or tend to be a complex weaving of more than one feeling – depression and sorrow, joy and tears, love and insecurity…
SHAMANIC PERSPECTIVE
Work with the water element. Add a small bowl of water to your altar. As you pass it during the day, drop a pebble in, flick water out of it, gaze at it’s still surface, pour some in, pour some out.
Play with the water. Ask to come into balance with the Spirit of Water. You may get messages to drink more water, to cry and save your tears, to visit the ocean or lake.
Make this a day to Roar about!
