ILLUMINATION
Yes, it’s all about YOU! Looking directly at the Sun will earn you bright blindspots in your eyes, and so it is true when we try to see into ourselves. Thus we gain insight by noticing carefully how we have illuminated our surroundings. What does your world reveal about you? What are you attracting, and what is missing?
In this card the Witness looks at the Full Moon for reflection; during the New Moon we have no moonlight or sunlight for illuminating ourselves. View instead the more subtle, yet powerful, layers of your world hidden in the shadows of the Dark Moon.

Comparison Anxiety Disorder abates when we celebrate rather than obsess over differences. That Leo Ego needs to settle down a bit. The Dark Moon is quietly invites you to gaze into the shadows and other astral influences and open your Inner Eye, open and unafraid. You will see the ways you may define who you are and your worth based on comparing yourself to other people, and how the same mechanism influences your opinions of other people!
Embrace what you see without negative interpretation. Ask for the veils of illusion to be lifted, the judgement to fall away, and pure truth to emerge. Let simple awareness light and delight your inner child who giggles at new, different, and unique. Become innocent again.

LAUGHTER
Great big belly laughs bring us right home to the body, the Now, and our natural connection to Gaia! Roll with it! Crack yourself up, silly human, and watch all the dark energy lighten up. Infectious laughter needs no justification, it just happens.
Personal story: I was at a small birthday gathering yesterday. In my eagerness to rid myself of some green bell pepper, I accidentally threw it at the birthday girl who took the hit gracefully. Yay her!
I attempted to apologize, forgot I had food in my mouth, and managed to spit at her. Gales of helpless laughter ensued, tears rolling down my cheeks, and the rest of the lunch was periodically peppered with my idiotic giggles as snapshots of the moment kept popping up in my mind. I was lost, couldn’t help it! My lunch companions found this highly amusing and fun and did not, thankfully, toss me off the train.
So no matter how “serious” all this expansion and creativity and self opening may be, ground it with some dedicated humor and laughter medicine!
This Dreamweaver Train magically moves you to new, fertile lands of creative possibilities and life-changing magic. When your ego complains with a mournful train-whistle, replace the worrisome noise with joyous uproar and laughter!
