To truly take advantage of the opportunities open this weekend, ya gotta be willing to take a Walk on the Wild Side! We dance between profound self inquiry and discovery and active participation in a wide range of social situations, from intimate to crowded. Get ready for anything this weekend.
FRIDAY
Even though Grandmother Moon becomes the Dark Waters Scorpio Moon today we still enjoy abundant positive vibes. She teams up with the Droopy Trooper Mars in Cancer, helping build confidence in our feelings as a potential Super Power.
She also enjoys positive connections with the There’s No Place Like Home Cancer Sun, another emotional bonus! Gracenote reflections with Venus (Romantic Queen), Jupiter (Magnanimous King), and Pluto (Dark King of Chaos) highlight positive personal qualities we may have forgotten to acknowledge.
SATURDAY
Hmm, we may experience a surprise encounter with someone – or meet ourselves in a new way. The Dreamy King of the Seas (Neptune retrograde in Pisces) activates intuition and personal charm in a more translatable fashion today.
The There’s No Place Like Home Cancer Sun squares the Deep Waters Moon, causing us to question a path we’ve chosen. Maybe we stay home from the beach party, or take off on a spontaneous day trip to the mountains.
Mars gently plucks the tension strings between Uranus and Pluto, still an active square/dissonant energy as the planets slowly move away from each other. The note that sounds is melodious, though, not discordant, and gives us more confidence to Walk on the Wild Side!
SUNDAY
The Romantic Queen (Venus in Leo) wakes up with a slight hangover, feeling a tad petulant and vulnerable. The building Venus Conjunct Jupiter energies have us all seeking what fills our pleasure pools, be it in the arts, in activities, in our surroundings, in love. The overall battling desires of dig deep/go play rise through the day, perhaps making it difficult to focus on one particular thing.
Then we are challenged by the Dark Waters Scorpio Moon coupling with the Deep Waters Detective Saturn retrograde in Scorpio to uproot the inner lies we hold on to for supposed sanity, a rather shadowy intrigue. Uranus (Sky Lord of Anarchy) swoops in to the rescue, scooping up our Romantic Queen in a joyous tryst, shouting “Let Go, Let’s GO!” along with the bright, now Sagittarian Moon! The Walk on the Wild Side energies spill into the 29th, preparing us for the full on empowering Full Moon on July 1.
SPIRIT MEDICINE:
The Phoenix teaches us to surrender, over and over again, to change. The fires in every cell in our body eventually die, only to give birth to new cells. Celebrate failure AND success; you grew, learned, updated. Feathers and skin shed, but the soul core remains, upgraded in the process.
ANIMAL MEDICINE:
Possum reminds us to see the opportunity in every situation AND to remember our original soul path. How is our path honored in our choices now? Adaptive and creative, the Possum takes advantage of the situation and makes the best of it, while still keeping its truth the highest priority. Ask Possum to help you climb a tree and get clear if the emotional waters of the weekend become too murky or turbulent for you.
EARTH MEDICINE:
Nettle’s first impression is a sharp sting! Yet, what lies beneath? A reliable, nutrient rich food source, strong fibers for cloth and multiple medicinal uses. Her properties align with the Scorpio influence of this weekend. Look beneath the surface, then look again. There are so many layers, so much is available. What will you avoid because it appears prickly, uncomfortable, edgy? What would happen if you went there anyway?
Ending the weekend with the Let Go Let’s GO Sagittarius Moon and Venus trining Uranus sets us up nicely for a powerful Capricorn Full Moon week.
