Mars Opposite Saturn May 14 2015 Shamanic Weather
Our Distracted Scout (Mars in Gemini) defies the Stern Ruler of Expansion (Saturn in Sagittarius) causing our thoughts and actions to split. Mars Opposite Saturn creates a dilemma for the masculine side of our nature. We see an objective, we are ready to go (Mars) but there are many things to do to prepare for action and plans to make and cautions to take (Saturn). So we can get really frustrated and … well, let’s back up a bit.
Overnight Grandmother Moon left Dreamland Pisces for Let’s Go! Aries and immediately stepped into council, first with Mars, then Saturn, in an effort to fire both of them up with a common desire. This morning she consoles the Sensitive Queen (Venus in Cancer) who was feeling touchy and a bit insecure, and moves on to enter the Dragon’s Tail (South Node) for karmic past research.
Our motivated and active Let’s Go! Aries Moon whispers positive action words to the Winged Messenger (Mercury in Gemini) and high praise to the Magnanimous King (Jupiter in Leo) all in hopes of lifting the mood and getting everyone onboard with some FUN activities!
And – go back to the opening paragraph. Despite our best efforts, we may end the day feeling frustrated and thwarted. If that is the case, hang in there – tomorrow brings some outside the box solutions and prepares us for a dreamy weekend…
DIVINE FEMININE
This Heart Chakra card reminds us to emulate the Aries Moon today – seek Connection! Our greatest resources are found in sharing energy and experience with each other. Happy or constrained, we are a family oriented species; we live in tribes, packs, communities. Scale the level of interaction to what works for your level of intro/extraversion, but remember the Heart needs love food everyday!
DIVINE MASCULINE
The Third Eye helps us “see” divine light and “hear” divine sound. Turned outward, we observe and assess the reflection of ourselves we see in the world around us. Turned inward, we see the root of what we are projecting. Participate in the active energy of the day as much as you wish, and keep creating your own personal log of perceptions and data that you can mine later for understanding and breakthrough.
DIVINE MESSAGE
Action coming from the Root Chakra helps us move through whatever is in the way of our realizing our dreams. Today we dance to our inner rhythm, our personal drumbeat. We may swirl alone with ourselves, or weave intricately with others – just don’t stop dancing! Some days we are meant to cocoon and rejuvenate, and if you feel that inclination, then that’s your medicine. But for most of us, some form of action toward our dreams is called for, and what better way than to dance the magic in?
This New Moon Weekend finishes up with a bang as we enter Mercury Retrograde and three weeks of Winged Messenger Processing. So as best you can get details wrapped up and computers backed up before the evening of May 18.
