Sun Sextile Chiron May 11 2015 Shamanic Weather
Are you ready for a bit of a Sun sextile Chiron change-up? The Sky Lord of Anarchy (Uranus in Aries) rumbled around with the Quantum Visionary (Moon in Aquarius) just after midnight, setting in motion a ripple of time/space distortion that flowed over the Royal Court (our solar system) in either deep, psychedelic dreams or altered wakefulness that may have prevented sleep or focus. It’s kind of a post X-flare finish; the board has been reset. We now have a new perspective from which to view what we want vs. what we need. What we need is a point! When the Taurus Sun sextiles The Wounded Healer (Chiron in Pisces) today (10:43 am PDt) we have this glorious opportunity to see and acknowledge our own Point (see The Point! by Harry Nilsson) And after about nine hours of looking for it, if you haven’t found it yet, well, don’t bother for now because Mars enters Gemini and becomes the Distracted Scout. He’ll dig up all kinds of intel, collect fascinating stories and discover cool places to visit, but…he gets distracted easily and, well, um…what was the point? Grandmother Moon slips into the warm waters of Pisces, puts her dream catcher hand over your forehead and says “Just dream, honey. Sleep and dream.” At that same moment, the Distracted Scout squares off with the Dream Catcher Moon and influences more wild, reality-bending dreams. Strap in! This week starts off a wild ride toward the New Moon and coming Mercury Retrograde in Pisces.

The Lady of Lightning takes no prisoners – change or be changed! Subtle or life-encompassing, change is here, present, now and there is no avoiding it. You really can’t hide from lightning. Why would you try? Her compelling beauty scintillates your core with sparkling power and dynamic connections. This can be a good thing! The M&MG SITREP reveals your paradigm is about to shift.
OBJECTIVE
The Lady of the Mirror points the focus where we need it – on ourselves. From knowing what we want we can then make the choices that best serve our needs. We do our best to simply look at things without judging – our assumptions block our view of our Point! Take some time to look in the Mirror with kindness and open heart and see what you discover.
STRATEGY
Here we can see how the Distracted Scout can be so…distracted! The Cosmos IS vast; we are still trying to comprehend all the parts we can’t scientifically measure. With so much unknowable, unplannable, unquantifiable, we have no choice but to allow. Control is the greatest illusion; surrender the most potent catalyst. Let the Mirror reflect what we truly need, then turn to the Cosmos and invite it in. Maybe we just think we need a Point. Maybe we are supposed to accept we have one already, whether we know it or not! It’s going to be a full, fun week as we head into the New Moon on the 17th, then Mercury Retrograde on the 18th.
