From October 23 to November 22, we are under the influence of the Super Sleuth, the Shadow Master, Code Maker and Heart Breaker, and depending upon your relationship to Shadow Work and where Scorpio lands in your personal chart, you will meet some stinging aspect of self and/or life that deeply affects you, gets your attention.
ALREADY HAPPENED
Yes, most of us are still reeling at the latest upheavals around the world, and for some, in our own lives. The template of this deeply emotional, yet private, Water Sign is revealed in its many Shamanic archetypal incarnations. I’ll give you three here – which apply the most to you or your experiences?
The Scorpion Stinger – dwelling in the shadows, coming out mostly at night, the Secretive Scorpion represents the most primitive aspects of our inherent animal natures. Unaddressed wounds of all kinds activate. Protection and defense through clever, quick offense is instinctive.
The Eagle Heart – choosing the higher perspective, the Eagle guides us to soar above survival instinct to heart-based choice. More vulnerable, and therefore deeper, relationships develop. And, there can always be the opportunity to crash and burn…
The Scorpio Phoenix – From the flames of deep emotional pain and heartbreak arises the new form. Here shines the quintessential romantic, eternally believing in love (of all sorts) despite the damning evidence of inevitable shadow.
THAT’S THE HERO’S JOURNEY
In so many ways, yes.
Scorpios keep us guessing, but in truth, they are the ones with endless questions that only they can answer. As one of the Three Water Signs of the Zodiac, they balance with the tender, pure heart of Cancer, and the endless, emotional seas of Pisces. They bear the burden of all in between, deep and shadowy and surprising.
And so we thank them for helping us find all that richness within ourselves.
