Butterfly Raven New Beginnings
Butterfly and Raven came to me in journey this morning in the symbol of New Beginnings. Imagine the dark silhouette of Raven with a Cosmic Butterfly rising behind him like a giant full moon.
They are the dark and the light, the end and the beginning, the threshold of who we were and who we are becoming. This is the magic of this month that sprinkles in today.
SHAMANIC SPIRIT ANIMALS
When Butterfly appears, ancestors are near. In her adult form, the Butterfly proudly displays the beauty of change. She is ready to seed new life, a culmination of hard-won wisdom through surrender-to-experience that prepares to encapsulate into a fresh incarnation, a joyous delivery into a new life.
And Raven brings on the magic!

We inspire our coming 2017 (a Universal 10/1 year!) with what we dream in this month.
October is a Universal 10/1 month with the extra pow of the 2+0+1+6=9 of this year.
- Nine is the number of completion (Butterfly).
- One is the number new beginnings (Raven).
- And TEN is new beginnings times, oh, a million (Butterfly/Raven).
IN THE STARS
Today we reflect on the positive changes that resulted from our commitment to fully living life. We relish the beauty of the world around and inside of us. Thank you to the Moon, Neptune, Pluto and the Dragon’s Tail South Node for setting this more pleasurable mood.
PLUS: The sensual is highlighted with the Scorpio Moon’s deep focus on Queen Venus. Sure, she’s squirming, but she likes the attention and the dark titillation.
She likes being both the beautiful Butterfly Dreamer and the shadow power of Raven.
