Mercury Retrogrades In Gemini May 19 2015 Shamanic Weather
Yesterday our Winged Messenger (Mercury in Gemini) stationed, meaning from our point of view it appeared to hover like a hummingbird in one still spot. The word is INTENSE! Today Mercury retrogrades in Gemini to retrace its orbit of the past three weeks. That literally means we get to review and perhaps redo. All three Retrogrades this year are in Air signs, the element of Mind, so we may be feeling a little mentally congested and word-lost; communication challenges may abound!
However, lack of something to say has never been a problem for Gemini no matter what direction we may be transiting! Today the What’s Next? Moon in Gemini conjoins with Mercury (that’s the sweetest union) and then starts meeting up with the transpersonal (heavy hitter) planets all day long to scoop up important messages to ponder during this Retrograde. She is, after all, ready to report, or ask – What’s Next?

WILDWOOD MEDICINE
Stag is the Justice Card (for this version of the Tarot) wielding the abundant power of the number eight and supreme oversight and dominion over all. With patience we assess the current conditions, past actions, and potential outcomes. How have we participated? How have we abstained or perhaps abandoned our power? The time has come to choose an ideal or position that reflects the highest and best good. Claiming our Stag (Masculine) power we apply discernment and take responsibility for our decisions and actions.
DRUID ANIMAL MEDICINE
Seal brings love and longing in a single breath. In Selkie form she is trapped by false promises; in Seal form she is free, but perhaps lonely. As the Stag represents the Divine Masculine in his power the Seal reveals the Divine Feminine in her glory, and her downfall. Will our minds imprison our hearts? Can we swim freely through the vast seas of our emotions and retain safe harbor for our hearts? Venus approaches some rocky shores later this week, and meeting Seal we are put on notice today to take care of our flowy, feminine nature.
DRUID PLANT MEDICINE
Traditional gift and adornment for celebrations such as weddings, Meadowsweet has been named as one of three major sacred herbs in ancient Druidic Medicine, the others thought to be Vervain and Water Mint. She heralds change, transition – or our feeling the need for it! Her flowery gifts scent the air, brew taste into the mead of life, and her roots and decoctions soothe sores. She reminds us to sweeten our lives with bright, aromatic flowers and to acknowledge the times of change in our lives.
More outer planet action tomorrow, then Thursday Venus and Jupiter mix it up with Pluto. We have a Leo Moon coming in for the coming Memorial Day Weekend, so get ready to party!
