Medicine for the Grumpy Queen
Our Brilliant Queen (Venus in Gemini) feels thwarted and vulnerable as she opposes The Stern Ruler of Expansion (Saturn in Sagittarius) and squares The Dreamy King (Neptune in Pisces. Venus-Saturn-Neptune T-Square energy pits our pleasures against our practicalities aggravated by unrealized goals and ideas, and this energy can affect us for the next week. Our challenge will be to take all the energy this configuration releases and flow it into positive gains rather than depleting dramas. Here’s what we are working with today:
Although we had productive dreams overnight, and most likely woke up feeling positive about ourselves, the spacey energy of Moon being Void of Course, then entering Pisces, fogs things up. Then the Quicksilver Messenger (Mercury in Aries) is pulled out of the sign of the Ram by the Bull and becomes the Constrained Speaker (Mercury in Taurus), NOT his favorite flavor. Our communications may be more grounded, but the slowdown in thinking and uptick in rigidity frustrates and limits us.
Then the Foggy Mirror (Moon in Pisces) challenges both the Brilliant Queen AND the Stern Ruler of Expansion to add to her feelings of frustration and vulnerability. Grrr!
What to do: Pay attention to your body’s talk! For example, I selected three decks to work with today. As I shuffled the first deck kriya shockwaves ran through me – so I listened to that and did today’s reading with just that deck alone.
That means: Use your body today to navigate the moments you are triggered, when feelings swing, when what you want isn’t what you got. Before you react, stop, breathe, feel where in your body your reaction is coming from, and go there. Own the energy, breathe it through and out, ask for help using it for your benefit!
SITUATION
The Well Watcher is the observer of what is, gazing into the repository of deep wisdom. Drink from the waters of the Divine, the true guidance within ourselves. This is a time to watch rather than act, listen instead of speak. Divine messages are flowing our way, help is available when we need it. We are asked to be open and aware to receive.
CHALLENGE
The Lady of Lightning zaps us with surprises and sometimes shocking and total paradigm shifts. She could be right inside us as instant anger or sudden tears. Other times she’s the car that cuts us off or the job that just went away. At the best of times she’s the intuitive brilliance that moves us from stuck to YES, I get it, I want to do that, I can! Shift. Change. It’s happening and she won’t let us pretend it isn’t.
ADVICE
Go to Gaia’s Garden and harvest the sustenance you need to thrive. Tend your garden with loving care for you will reap what you sow. Find the weed seeds of painful thoughts and pluck them up before they germinate; every little thought really does count, has it’s own energy signature that becomes more alive the more often you think it. So give gratitude (mental fertilizer!) to the ideas that truly serve, cycle with the Earth and Her natural way of just being, giving, living. Notice she’s smiling at you. Smile back!
What do you do with a Grumpy Queen? Massage her shoulders, rub her feet, get her to watch reruns of Seinfeld with you. Embrace any grumpiness that comes up today and play with ways to turn it into laughter, reclaiming your power!
