Venus in Cancer May 7 2015 Shamanic Weather
Despite some last minute confusion and a missing piece of luggage, our Flirty Queen departs the lightning-charged heights of Gemini for a cozy vacay in Crab Bay. Venus in Cancer craves nesting, comfy cat-nap loveseats and intimate dining with close friends (could be a little Sacred Bitching in there, a girl has to blow off some steam!) She is the Sensitive Queen riding an emotional rollercoaster, at times overwhelmed by her own feelings, clingy and caring, moody and loving, quite the lover and, at times, the leaver! The Get Grounded Goat Moon (Moon in Capricorn) has prepared the way, so sure-footed and clear even when scaling impossible heights. Our Grounded Soldier (Mars in Taurus) offers extra protection even as he prepares for the final leg of his journey guarding the Bull, so our Sensitive Queen indulges her inner Wild Woman tonight, toasting serendipity and unexpected pleasures with the wild one himself, the Skylord of Anarchy (Uranus in Aries).

Hearth Goddess Hestia lights the fires that call to you, “Come Home!” The hearth, which later became the kitchen, has always been the heart hub of every home, from camp and cave to castle and temple. There is always a place for you, your home, your core sense of self, who you are, what you desire. Today she’s cooking up some grounding magic: perform a home-caring task with ritualistic purpose that symbolizes your intention to truly care for and nourish the fires of your “home”, be it your body, car, house, office, garden, or even Mother Earth. Come home, be healed.

The Alchemy of Gold symbolizes that perfect agreement between what we have and what we believe we deserve. When we can see the present as a goldmine, whatever is present with us, then we have truly entered the realm of the Masters. Seek the gold in each moment, and come into right relationship with money and riches as a concept of energy rather than self-worth. It is OKAY to want to have lots of energy. It is WONDERFUL to share it by using it and donating it. Before we knew money as coins and paper and numbers on a computer screen it was bags of salt and nuggets of gold, and it has always been about ENERGY and fair energy exchange. Consider using a chunk of pyrite or other golden object as a symbol for riches and abundant energy in your life today. Place it in the Wealth corner of your home, perhaps with a photo or other symbol of Horse, and light a candle. Spend a moment telling yourself it is absolutely ok to receive money (gold), you are making space for it to come into your life (candle), and will offer fair energy exchange to keep it flowing (horse). Say thank you, and allow the Universe to work on your behalf. Today is about coming home, rediscovering our integrity, our personal magic, and even learning about something uniquely special to ourselves while doing a bit of clean up around giving and receiving. Any or all of the above may happen, or perhaps we are on a different energy line today.
