SEEKING SOLID GROUND
The January 2, 2022 New Moon finds us seeking solid ground after two years of incredible intensity and change. We want to stop and catch our collective breath. And the strong stellium (grouping) of planets in “Earth Based Spirituality” Capricorn – Outer You Sun, Inner You Moon, Love Goddess Venus, and Dark Lord of Transformation Pluto – inform our overall energy as we enter the new year.
A QUIET CELEBRATION
So many of us toned down the holiday get-togethers, gift giving, and overall revelry. On New Year’s Eve many of us opted to stay home. Yes, the uptick in Covid cases factors in, but another Shamanic Weather component influenced us as well.
We are cocooning, resting, “Earthing,” and reconnecting to our roots by being still.

Loving Choices, Meaningful Actions
Ultimately Venus in Capricorn, and especially retrograde, instigates a deep review of our loving choices and meaningful actions. And on Christmas Day, December 25, the Love Goddess aligns with Dark Lord of Transformation Pluto. He drives the “Practicality with Spirituality Seagoat” Capricorn energy even deeper.
WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?
The masks, stories and superficial can’t stand the scrutiny and fall away, especially around our preconceived notions of love, relationships, and what we value in our lives.
Venus asks, “What do you love and value?” and Pluto asks, “What needs to die so you can live that truth?”
With these realizations we shift our priorities and how we walk our lives right now and into the year of Love and Relationships, 2022

We’ve been feeling this Venus Retrograde Take Apart Love since the Love Goddess entered her shadow in November. With the December 18, 2021 Full Moon the energy intensifies and reaches one of many peaks hours later as she stations Retrograde.
