We’re feeling the heat as members of the Royal Court dance through the bonfires of transformation, stirring up all sorts of Sun Sextile Uranus shift and change. Unexpected options, sudden movement on formerly stuck situations, big energy erupts, smell the smoke: who’s on fire? Air feeds fire; fire creates its own wind, so there’s a bit of a firestorm on this last full day of Mercury Retrograde with seven aspects in Fire signs and four in Air signs. Our thoughts (air element) are flowing now as the Fresh Start Aries (fire) Moon ignites ideas with our Winged Messenger Mercury (retro in Gemini, air). Basking in the delicious warmth, the Romantic Queen (Venus in Leo, Fire!) happily hugs and cuddles up with both the Fresh Start Moon and the Winged Messenger. Her love of life radiates out through the rest of the Royal Court. We enjoy reaching out and being approached. Answers come more easily. We feel more comfortable in our own skin, even if it feels a bit unreal…more on that below…
SPIRIT MEDICINE
The Seer prepares us for the coming psychic storms as a grounding rod into the purest of Earth magic. Neptune stations Retrograde in his favorite sign, Pisces, at 11:07 PM 6/11 Pacific Time, heralding a time of exquisite psychic sensitivity, canny intuition, and dimensional drifting. The Seer helps us prepare to meet our wild-eyed inner shaman with deep tap roots to hold us steady and the wisdom to channel broad bandwidth into tolerable, understandable flow. ANIMAL MEDICINE
Wren humbly directs us to where we should place our attention, including ourselves. She embraces the brilliance of observation, gentle noticing, and careful discernment. The subtleties of a situation speak louder than words; the symbols of our dreams and journeys contain so much. We get to practice considering the input received before commenting or taking action. She also counsels us to not forget to participate! Playing small to see what’s happening can diminish our own light and squelch contribution and connection in our tribe. Big magic is happening, and it flows through each of us.
EARTH MEDICINE
The Romantic Queen is pleased that Mugwort, aka Motherwort, speaks to us today. Mugwort was used in offerings to Venus and is a healing herb recognized as sacred throughout multiple cultures. Today Mugwort is the balm to the over-stimulated psychic senses, to our maxed-out Divine Feminine intuition, soothing rampant visions so we can refocus and read the signs. When feeling overwhelmed by the mind and heart (air and fire!) go to ground with Mugwort and embrace the loving wisdom of Mother Earth.
