Pluto Enters Aquarius
The cacophony of world events crescendos as Pluto enters Aquarius on March 23, 2023 at 5:12 am Pacific Time.
Whenever a planet changes signs or direction, its influence is dramatically heightened. With Pluto being the Dark Lord of the Underworld – Transformation/Creation through Death, the make-a-big-change-NOW urgency pushes us even harder.
Pluto In Capricorn
The last time Pluto was in his home sign of Plan Your Work-Work Your Plan Capricorn was from January 1762 to December 1778. During that period of political upheaval and world changes, the United States was birthed through the Revolutionary War.
Fast forward to 2008 when Pluto finally moved into Capricorn again, and his entry coincided with one of the biggest financial crises the US has ever endured.
And the past 15 years since have been some of the world’s most tumultuous, with a global pandemic thrown in for an extra, apocalyptic-themed factor.
Pluto Return
So on February 22, 2022, the US experienced its first Pluto Return for the US. (A Return is when a planet crosses the same place in the heavens it occupied when a person, or in this case, a country, was born). Yes, Pluto takes about 248 years to complete one orbit around the Sun.
Now, as Pluto enters Aquarius, the planetary shake-up is already well underway.
The Great Shift
World Vision Aquarius is mental-spiritual, favoring quantum physics, advanced technologies, and the overall wellbeing of the collective. Issues of global climate change, world health/famine/poverty, the ethics of artificial intelligence, and governments with their hierarchy, laws and territories all come under the scrutiny of Pluto in Aquarius. What needs to change, will…by any means possible.
This crescendo as Pluto enters Aquarius is really just the first movement of this 20 plus year opus. Pluto retrogrades back into Capricorn in June 2023, then revisits in Aquarius in January 2024, then again retrogrades into Capricorn in September 2024, to re-enter Aquarius for the third time in November 2024, where he stays until 2043.
This makes 2023 and 2024 truly “loud” roller coaster rides as we sort out the effects of various Capricornian crashing down and discover what comes after that.
