Mercury Direct, Election Chaos, and Empath Overload
With the Mercury Direct energy bringing communications back online, we’ll be watching the election chaos sort itself out.
Except empaths…we’ll be managing those overloaded emotional channels and un-merging from the collective pain/panic/crazy consciousness every five minutes! If you don’t have an empath in your life, or aren’t one yourself, you’ll just have to take my word for it.
Mercury Direct Polarity Switch
For all of us who are feeling the Mercury Direct intensity – you know who you are – here’s what I’m doing:
~ Grounding – connect to the Earth with my breath, by tending my garden, talking with friends. Sink my roots into foundation.
~ Feeling – notice what I’m feeling and accept it. Let judgment slide off ‘cuz it can keep me stuck. Let it move like water.
~ Expressing – movement like dance and exercise, baking, connecting with people I know and like.
~ Reviewing – but not too much! Journal, have critical-thinking discussions with intelligent people, choose what beliefs to keep, what to release.
~ Refilling – compassionate self-care and attention to others, meditation and other satisfying ritual, salt baths, sleep!
Elemental Balance
The image here suggests finding that elemental balance that helps you get centered again. Although we may have had a few communication snafus and computer glitches, Mercury Direct signals a change in the direction of our thoughts. That’s Air element. So pay attention to which way your mental winds are blowing and go from there.
