Get ready to apply balance to your life as we embrace the sign of fairness and compromise, social savvy, and, in its shadow, indecision – Libra.
On 9/22/23 at 11:50 PM Pacific Time we experience the Libra Equinox* and welcome Fall in the Northern and Spring in the Southern Hemispheres.
Complicated events and agendas fill our lives right now, both personally and globally. So we look for the new season’s gifts to apply balance to all the carry-over upset and uncertainty.
And those gifts are here!
A Grand Trine** occurs when three or more heavenly bodies are 120° apart to form an equilateral triangle.
Well, we’ve got TWO in the Earth element:
Grand Trine #1:
Outer You Sun – in Very Clear Virgo, wants you to own your space.
Dark Lord of Transformation Pluto – in Grounded Spirit Capricorn, says slow down.
Rebel Genius Uranus – in Feels Good Taurus, suggests you add a nap into your day.
Grand Trine #2:
Inner You Moon – in Capricorn, keeps you quietly observing.
Empowerment King Jupiter – in Taurus, puts your focus on what feels good.
Messenger Mercury – in Virgo, helps you discern the true message.
Here in my hometown in Southern California we’ve seen quite a bit of premature seasonal decorations pop up. Scary monsters and cleverly worded gravestones transform front yards into delightful Halloween displays!
I believe the desire to have something positive to look forward to brings out the little kid in all of us.
Apply Balance
In times past we recognized these four season changing days of the year, the two Equinoxes and the two Solstices, as a time to stop, acknowledge, and celebrate.
Now, working long hours, carrying that list of to do’s in our heads, and figuring out family needs and schedules can easily take precedence over pausing for a moment, getting peaceful, and feeling gratitude for simply being.
Let the Libra Equinox 2023 gently remind you to get grounded.
