The Summer Solstice energies supercharge the charismatic brilliance of Jupiter Trine Uranus today! The soul-nova effect lasts through the summer, so whenever you feel the creative block or public shyness, imagine that your Solar Plexus Star Center is shining through the muddy waters. You glow with your unique frequency, casting your own light vibrations wherever you choose to shine. This personal clarity meets some challenges today and this week. Our post-Solstice Celebration clean-up and recovery takes some attention, but the body and the spirit may not be all that willing. The Clean It Up Virgo Moon gets some passive, obtuse defiance, from the Dreamy King of the Seas, Neptune retro in Pisces, thwarting her desire for practical efficiency. Neptune’s tactics are soon remedied with help from the Distracted Scout, Mars in Gemini, who lends a masculine helping hand, and even the arch-enemies the Sky Lord of Anarchy, Uranus in Aries, and the Dark King of Chaos, Pluto in Capricorn, lend their support and encouragement. The Romantic Queen, Venus in Leo, fondly remembers the highlights of the weekend. A hug from the Wounded Healer Dreaming, Chiron in Pisces, encourages her and us that the hungry ghosts of the past were met well by our determination to be our best selves and live our best lives this weekend.
SUN CARD – OUTER SELF
Enthusiasm We’re 4-0 with this card! The four times I have used this deck for the Shamanic Weather, Enthusiasm has come up each reading. The consistent message from the Tao Oracle is to embrace living with enthusiasm, certainly appropriate with the intense Solstice energy. In the Sun Card position, the 16th Hexagram counsels you to find ways to live in choice, even if you are in the shadow of fury or grief. The light at the end of the tunnel beckons us to move forward.
THE MOON CARD – INNER SELF
The Wanderer Our soul is on a pilgrimage called “incarnation” and grows from the discoveries of new territory and the mapping of old. Where do we wander, where do we call home? How do we participate differently depending upon where we are? When the Inner Self is wandering we learn how we adapt and possibly change ourselves to meet unfamiliar territory and circumstances. Neutral discernment can erode to polarized judgement, and then life gets complicated as we project and become entangled. Gah! Tell Neptune to keep his retrograde illusion-delusion-confusion energy to himself!
THE SOUL CARD
Dispersion In shamanism we call this dismemberment, the take-apart, a radical severance from the old patterns and beliefs so we can make way for a refreshed, more contemporary framework. Use the energy available from ol’ Sol to power up your batteries and illuminate the shadows your life so you can know what you wish to keep as the coming deconstruction shakes things apart. It’s ok. We do this all the time to some degree as our cells die and the sun cycles through the day. Now we know a more concentrated process is upon us. The coming Chiron Retrograde in Pisces (water=feelings) and Mars moving into Cancer (water-more feelings) aspects add a potent emotional load to the ongoing process of changing and growing. This is the shadow to our light for the next few months. Dispersion puts us on notice to do some clean up NOW so later we can have more space to see what’s really going on, discover our best anchor points, expand into the new awareness and not get swept away.
