Emotional Storms blow through Friday and Saturday as Inner You Moon moves into Shadow Heart Scorpio. With both the Outer You Sun and Moon in Water Signs, (the Sun is in Primal Heart Cancer) our feel-o-meters are really ramped up.
And – awareness of heightened sensitivity gives us the option to go deeper into the feelings and move with and through them rather than being swamped. The Sun and Moon trine (balance) with each other, giving you a buoy to grab onto and steady yourself.

Emotional Storms – Epic Pluto Return
Epic Pluto Return is a time of Death and Rebirth, the destruction before creation aspect of Plutonic influence. On Feb 22, 2022, the USA experienced its first ever Epic Pluto Return. That means the Dark Lord of Transformation, Pluto, sat in the same place in the sky as it did when the United States was “born,” July 4,1776.
In February, we were a nation still reeling in shock over the highly emotional and violent events of January 6! And not just Americans but the world felt it as two days later, February 24, 2022, Russia invaded Ukraine. Mara Weather – Independence Day, 2022
My Shamanic Weather posts focus primarily on astrology. I sneak in Shamanism, Reiki and even some Tantra, especially in my recommended practices and ceremonies.
Today, I found myself exploring the heaviness in my heart. It’s been there for some time, I think, and I’ve been “managing” it as part of my grief process over the so-many-changes in my life in 2022. Then add 2020-2021 to that, well, of course process and integration are cooking through me. I live my Mara Weather everyday.
And – today I realized, again, because this is cyclical for empaths, I need to ask the question, “Is this mine?”
The answer: not all of it. I may do energetic clearing, cord cutting, find that peaceful Nowness after journeys, breathing practices, and meditations, but sometimes that mental awareness rings the “Duh!” bell and the relief is immediate.
