Gemini New Moon Ceremony

Keep in mind for your Gemini New Moon Ceremony that the spiky energy you may be feeling is not unexpected when the Gemini Vibe is highly stimulated. And even though the Moon was in Steady Bull Taurus most of the night, Gemini is impatient and WANTS that New Moon buzz!

So, make the ritual something fresh while allowing for random input both before, during and after.

CEREMONY

Do everything differently, such as:

Smudge using essential oil infused water, or seawater. Or pour feathers over your head!

Burn an oil lamp, or have a small fire in your fire pit instead of a candle.

Open sacred space with a song or dance instead of spoken invocation.

Pick something to represent the Gemini New Moon, a proxy to anchor the energy within your sacred space. Personally I’m going to use my Raven puppet that Carla gave to me in Death Valley, Roxie.

Then, have a conversation with yourself and the Gemini New Moon. Talk to you, to Creator/Spirit/Universe, and the your proxy. Speak clearly about what you would like to invite for the next moon cycle, or more. Your proxy may answer back!

BONUS

If you do shamanic journey, you may wish to continue this process in that journey.

Take whatever is given you, offer thanks, and close sacred space the same way you opened it, or with a simple prayer.

THE LAST WORD

Come away from your Gemini New Moon Ceremony with one ear cocked backward, listening for “the last word.” You will receive messages before, during, and after the ceremony that you will eventually piece together.

LOVE UPDATE

Just before the New Moon Vivacious Queen of Love Venus in Aries squares Take Apart King Pluto in Capricorn. Money, love and relationships all experience the scrutiny of the Dark Lord of Chaos, and our emotional matrix doesn’t like it one bit.

You may feel offended, wounded, abandoned or jealous today – super sensitive with no escape. This is part of that spiky energy that pokes, needles you, perhaps harshing the buzz of the New Moon.

SHAMANIC SOLUTION

Gather up the hurt feelings and money worries and channel that energy into your Gemini New Moon Ceremony. The flame transmutes it. The dance or song or whatever you do harmonizes it. The proxy conversation makes it make sense for you. Then allow it to energize your New Moon Seeds and shift everything.
