Weekend Shamanic Weather for March 13, 14 & 15, 2015
Saturn Retrograde
This weekend The Dark King of Chaos (Pluto in Capricorn) and the Sky Lord of Anarchy (Uranus in Aries) continue to posture and growl loudly, casting burning Masculine Shadows across the rest of the Royal Court and adding to the heat and smoke of the Moon and five planets in Fire signs and the Saturn Retrograde. Totally out of his element, the Muddled Messenger (Mercury in Pisces) gurgles through the salty Piscean waters and manages to mix up messages and add to the confusion and stress, while the rest of the Royal Court roils behind the scenes, polarizing factions and sprouting insecurities like weed seeds.
Overnight our dreams may be jumbled and emotionally draining, and we may awake tired. Themes may include not getting what we wanted, fear of the future, and reliving past shame. In the end it is a good thing; we have less to work out with others topside when we can do some of the heavy lifting ourselves during our sleep. The Get Grounded Capricorn Moon is trying to help us extract the true essence from the melange of stirred-up and worked-up energy.
Like a great, grumpy bear The Stern Ruler of Expansion (Saturn in Sagittarius) officially goes on retreat on Saturday. The energy of Saturn Retrograde in Sagittarius can slow us down, inspire second guessing and self-doubt, burning his Masculine Shadows internally instead of lashing out like the testosterone flames of the Uranus/Pluto Square.
And here is the gracepoint: We are building pressure that will literally blow the top off our energy bodies! This is the final drama before the seventh Pluto/Uranus Square goes exact on March 17, setting us up for major realizations and psychic shifts that dramatically open our crown chakras and allow tremendous downloads, expansion and positive change to crystallize within.
SPIRIT MEDICINE
The Spirit Whisperer is that Divine Guidance and Higher Knowing that gently directs us when outside roaring threatens to drown out our inner voice. She is a signpost on the path of our destiny, a harbinger of karma in process. Our soul contracts have been activated and she’s here to help us make the choices that either fulfill them our helps us rewrite or even rip them up! In the Creation Story, Black Cockatoo carries our genetic memory to help us be present with ourselves through the Dark Night of the Soul, to allow ourselves the time we need to process our own darkness and change. She then hands off the torch of illumination to her sister, Sulfur-Crested Cockatoo, the emissary of the Sun who brings light to our shadows so we can see our newly discovered wisdom and follow the path to clarity, intuition and truth.
EARTH MEDICINE
Petrified Wood is the result of magical transformation – an alchemy of healing and return to compassionate strength. Time and steady process transform organic material into this crystallized state; a quantum point jumps us from one level to another; the long, slow path becomes this highly charged but stable state. When we are in the shadows we can hold onto Petrified Wood to ground us, to remind us that the light we shine is made visible both through the shadows objects cast AND the reflection that bounces back to us. Depth comes from recognizing both truths and owning that awareness.
What a powerful weekend! Although the tone can be serious, we have the option to simply accept that heavy themes are up and choose loving compassion over gloomy outlook. Sometimes things just happen. Do we gnash our teeth, run and hide, or do we surrender to the wild beat and sweat it out? Let’s dance!
