Virgo Blood Moon Eclipse
March 13 – 14, 2025, we are well into the messy but fruitful energies of the Virgo Blood Moon Eclipse.
On One Hand
☀️Outer You Sun in No Boundaries Pisces wants you to feel, experience, transcend time and merge emotional bodies with just about anything and anyone:
“Wow, this tastes amazing! Let’s go dancing – shopping – eating – playing – (insert favorite past time here). Did you feel that? Cuz I totally felt that!”
And On The Other
🌕Across the sky, Inner You Moon is in its fullness, shining from the mirror of Eat Your Broccoli Virgo:
“Hey, you know, boundaries are helpful! Thoughtful schedules promote satisfying productivity! Feelings have messages – let’s analyze them.”
During any Full Moon, we are to find a balance between two opposite energies. The intensity is magnified because this is a total eclipse here in North America and begins our 2025 Eclipse Season.
That means the Moon is crossing over the ecliptic, right near the Karmic Dragon’s Tail South Node🐉, and diving into Earth’s shadow.
That’s A Blood Moon?
A Blood Moon Eclipse is so named because of Earth’s red hued shadow cast over the usually bright full moon surface.
The Moon will be at the South Node, literally the baggage we have dragged with us to or created in this life we are ready to clear out. And who is the Clean Queen? Organized Virgo, of course! The Virgo Blood Moon Eclipse gives us a chance to do some karmic clean-up at the personal level!
What Else Should I Know?
Your personal values (Venus) just aligned with how you view things (Mercury) in the sign of “I’m On Fire!” Aries. You are likely feeling a deep calling to make some changes based on what you have been observing around you and within yourself.
And, in a special right angle triangle, we receive the benefit of an activated Point of Thales.

(C) Rebel Genius Uranus works with both the (A) Sun and the (B) Moon at a right angle.
He’s at the Point of Thales, becoming the unexpected assistant between these two very different Pisces Sun and Virgo Moon energies. “Get creative! Expand your concept of options! What would feel good AND bring solid results?”
The presence of this configuration tells us that there are answers available we just haven’t identified or connected with yet.

It’s a crucial time, as Messenger Mercury enters Retrograde in I’m On Fire Aries about 12 hours later. And, Mercury just came off a personal connection with Venus, already in Retrograde.
What did they talk about? Seems it was a heated conversation!
Your Full Moon Ritual
Create an altar that embraces your practices, and be sure to include a symbolic Watery Pisces Sun and Earthy Virgo Moon. Bonus – add items to represent Mercury Mind, Venus Heart, and Uranus Lightning Ingenuity.
🪶Call in your sacred space protectors.
🕯️Light a candle. Make the offerings that are appropriate for you.
🎶Play or listen to music that helps your feelings flow.
Journal to the Practical Virgo Moon and Blissful Pisces Sun. Ask questions, and seek their guidance. You may have two strong voices telling you different things. Ask Uranus to help you bring them together to a meaningful narrative for you.
You might complete this ritual with a meditation, dance, or other practice of gratitude that lets your helpers know you appreciate the insights and any healing you receive.
