Sun Square Jupiter May 4 2015 Shamanic Weather
The reborn Phoenix burst forth in last night’s Full Moon! We broke through the barrier to feelings, dreams and desires formerly held in check or even out of our awareness. We still experience the effects, from the subtle to the shocking, but perhaps in a new way – like a rich vibration moving through our entire bodies, or a surreal witness-perspective of our daily activities. There is a sense of presence with our deeper, true selves. We are called to Expression Medicine, a clearing of what has literally been stuck in our throats. Sun square Jupiter magnifies all of this from a “hard” angle. If we are to stay in the light we want to keep a clear perspective in all matters today; over reaction and emotionality could create ominous cloud cover over our real work. Overdoing, unrealistic expectations and a return to self-sabotaging behaviors are the shadow aspect to the bright energy of truth pouring over us right now. Powerful insight and emotional clarity result from allowing the light to illuminate all our dark corners and expressing what needs to come out.
MOON MESSAGES
The Throat Chakra serves as the transmission point for our Expression Medicine. First, we know ourselves, get clear on what is deeply true from our heart and soul in this moment, all aspects, dark and light. Then, we communicate, through song, dance, words, hugs, laughing (or crying), what we have found. Maya Angelou’s poem, The Caged Bird http://www.poetryfoundation.org/poem/178948 gracefully reveals the duality of expressing the shadow and reveling in the light. Allow yourself time today to let both your Free Bird soar and your Caged Bird sing!

Butterfly transitions from cage to freedom in a dramatic act of transformation, literally dissolving from one form to another and breaking free of an old container, the chrysalis, that has completed its job and is needed no more. Upon her ultimate emergence she rests, the Sun warming her wings, allowing vital fluids to spread the delicate membranes forth and empower flight. She resonates to number three, power of synchronicity, Holy Triad, the essential aspects of Matter, Energy and Intention coming together to form something wholly new and original.
