Scorpio Full Moon May 2015 Shamanic Weather
Although the Sun in Taurus insists on stability and slow, steady growth, the Scorpio Full Moon ignites our deepest desires and pushes beyond the limits of time. We fly with the Phoenix (another archetype of Scorpio) right into the bullish heart of the Taurus Sun.
The Magnanimous King (Jupiter in Leo) makes everything larger than life: next to the Sun (our outer selves) he’s the largest heavenly body in the Royal Court (our solar system). Jupiter squares off with the Full Moon energies, amplifying the polarity between Scorpion boundary busting and Taurian conformity. We feel the discomfort of desiring what we don’t have, and question the validity and value of what we do. How do we balance both sides of this equation?

Seven hours before the Full Moon, the Scorpio Moon trines The Dreamy King (Neptune in Pisces). Neptune’s power is in full force as he is in his favorite sign, floating in the many-layered waters of consciousness. Imagination and intuition flow through our inner channels, enabling our inner selves (Moon) to swim up to the conscious surface and break free.
This makes 1:02 pm a perfect time to do the exercise below:
Draw a line down the center of a sheet of paper. On the left side list what you have now in your life, both tangible and intangible, and on the right list what you want. Please remember to include items you deserve to congratulate yourself for achieving – this is a not a personal hit list – as well as that which would enrich your life.
You will quickly see where you are meeting your needs and wants and where you can use some of this dynamic energy of the Full Moon to invite shift to happen! Then use Fire Ceremony in your Full Moon Ceremony to help clear out the old and attract in the new.
