You are invited (ok, you are already here) to this year’s Pisces Party New Moon! Wear your PJs and fuzzy slippers and get ready for some psychedelic visions and fishy business February 27, 2025 at 4:44 pm Pacific Time.
Psychedelic Visions?
Folks with any intuition whatsoever felt their spidey senses tingling days ago. Five major aspects (planets, Moon, Sun) and the North Node are all in the final sign of the Zodiac, Pleased To Meet You Pisces.
Pisces is the sign of the collective unconsciousness, the seas of realities flowing in and out of each other. You may have been getting those messages, downloads, psychic hits, strange coincidences, crazy dreams, and paranormal experiences and more for at least a week now, since How You Show Up Sun ingressed (moved into) in Pisces.
So That’s The Pisces Party?
Yes! The Sun, Moon, Mercury, Saturn, Neptune and the Destiny Path North Node are ALL in Pisces!
Pisces is a touchy-feely sign. Hugs are a form of candy! Emotions run high, and sensitivity is acute. Yet, they need their space, too. With things so crowded in the Pisces pool, so to speak, a Pisces Party can be the best way to keep everyone playing well together.
Then What’s The Fishy Business?
You can consider the Sun and the Moon the hosts of this Pisces Party, but King Of The Seas, Ascension Or Addiction Neptune threatens to steal the limelight in a riveting dance with the Destiny Path North Node. They are conjunct (lined up with each other) in Sail My Seas Pisces!
Neptune swirls in concepts of what could be, tempts with illusions or enlightens with sparkly visions. Ya just never know what’s real, and what’s delusion. So you flirt with dreams and fantasies, and the stirring energy can distract you from quality focus. It can even take you off track by distorting time.
I’ll Watch Out For That!
Please Me, Please Venus is just across the street from the Pisces Party, hanging out in Fiery Aries, trying to decide if she REALLY wants to go to this bash or not. Oh, she will, as she stations Retrograde (appears to move backward) on March 1 and will be backing out of Aries into Pisces in a few weeks. But for now, she’ll snark from the sidelines, kinda glad she can keep her Captain Marvel outfit on. She’s in a mood, you know.
That Sounds Spicy!
As I mentioned, Don’t Drink Too Much Saturn is also a (reluctant) attendee to this Pisces Party. He and Messenger Mercury just had their own confab in Pisces a few days ago, trying to figure out just what the hell is going on. It’s like everything is in some sort of code, and they don’t have the key. Neither one of them is particularly happy in the sign of If Wishes Were Fishes Pisces.
Your New Moon Ceremony
Set up a simple altar that has symbols for the elements: Earth, Water, Fire, Air, Spirit. I am big on candles, or if you have the chance, a fire pit. Have a symbol for the Sun and another for the Moon. I have a big yellow Jade sphere and a smaller Selenite sphere that do nicely.
Open / set your sacred space in your tradition. If you don’t have one, ask your ancestors and spiritual allies to help you and protect you.
Hold or focus on your Sun symbol. How are you showing up in the world? How are you living your truth? Go deeper and journal on this. What do you perceive?
Hold or focus on your Moon symbol. What is satisfying you? How might you like things to change? How do you feel? You can journal on this, too.
Hold them together. Listen. What messages are you receiving? Do they relate to dreams you’ve had, or recent experiences? If you take Journeys, now is a good time to take one to ask more of what the Moon and Sun aligned right now can mean for you.
This is an emotionally rich, the-veil-is-thinner time right now. You can be pulled in so many directions. You need to reset your compass, acknowledge all the many things you are being shown, but just observe without necessarily taking action. Ask for clarity, simplicity, and truth.
When you feel complete, you can thank all your spiritual allies and have your own Pisces Party!
