New Moon In Scorpio Part 3: The Phoenix Rises!

The November 11, 2015 New Moon in Scorpio occurs at 9:45 am Pacific Time, but you can honor yourself and your connection to your Tribe in ceremony during the Dark Moon before 24 to 48 hours after the event.
So many positive factors come into play with this New Moon in Scorpio. The numerology alone, 11/11, is a doubling up of the Master Number 11:
- Intuition and Sensitivity
- Karmic Master Teacher
- High Frequency Vibration
The number 11:11 is also points our attention to significant moments in our lives and receiving messages.

If you are asking for major shifts in your life, be prepared for the death and resurrection of your soul purpose!
New Moon In Scorpio Ceremony Preparation
First gather:
- Symbols of your Past Form – such as old photos or previous treasure maps.
- Several Stones – smaller than a ping pong ball
- Local Earth – about a cup of dirt or sand
- Glass or Metal Bowl – large enough to hold stones and water
- Two Cups of Water, separate (sea or river water is a bonus, but tap will do)
- You will also want a candle (Dark Moon Candle if you can make or get one)
- Personal Totem Symbol – What Power Animal stands with you at this New Moon?
- Gratitude Offering (tobacco, sugar, cornmeal, whatever feels right)
You may wish to make short lists of what is old you that you are surrendering to the Dark Moon AND the Undercover Dreams you have discovered and wish to bring to life.
New Moon In Scorpio Ceremony
Smudge yourself and your surroundings
Open Sacred Medicine Space – invite your Power Animal and spiritual allies to surround you
Light your candle and gaze into the flame.
Three archetypes are associated with Scorpio: the Phoenix, the Eagle and the Scorpion. Together they guide you through your ceremony. As you gaze into the flame, ask for their help in performing each task:
Begin with Scorpion
Feel into the dark places within you. Dig through and root up shadows and fears beneath the rocks and boulders in your life. These old, hidden truths are the foundation that supports your obstacles!
As you think of these obstacles, handle the stones one at a time and then put it in the bowl.
Continue with Eagle
Fly reconnaissance. Soar above the feelings and take in all aspects of your current landscape of life circumstances. Locate your undercover dreams, the deep desires you have been denying yourself.
Cover the stones in the bowl with the soil/sand, imagining you are reforming this landscape.
Die with Phoenix
Imagine falling into the flame and surrendering to a symbolic death and rebirth, a full transformation into your next in-life incarnation.
Transform
Pour one cup of water over the stones, mourning your “death,” preparing for your “rebirth.”
Stir them with your fingers, mixing the water, earth and stones. Everything is changing as you stir…the alchemy begins, the Phoenix is materializing from the shifting energy.
Resurrect
Rinse the stones clean by dipping one at a time in the second cup of water. Give them light and air, wash away the mud and debris of “what if’s” and “shouldn’t have’s” and bring your deepest truths to the light. Say “I reclaim my life” as you rinse each stone while keeping your undercover dreams alive in your thoughts.
Rebuild
Stack the stones on your altar, in a fresh dish, or around a plant. As you do this, see the Phoenix rise from the stones, your new form, ready to expand and fly!
Be sure the stones are somewhere you can see them for the next 30 days.
Gratitude
Pour the rinse water into the bowl.
Add your offering to the bowl, saying thank you to all. If it is a burned offering like incense, light it now.
Completion
Thank your Power Animal and spiritual allies, and close Sacred Space.
Pour the contents of the bowl outside on the Earth with gratitude. Keep your candle lit as long as you like.
May this New Moon ceremony help your Phoenix rise over the landscape of your life, free of the shadows and obstacles previously holding you back!
