It’s been so quiet and boring (not), so it’s the perfect time for our Mercury Retrograde realignment. Almost 24 hours to the minute after the Full Moon Eclipse, Messenger Mercury stations retrograde (appears to stop and then reverse course) March 14, 2025 at 11:45 PM Pacific Time.
Those Blood Moon eclipse energies are still rippling through us, stirring up any unfinished business and unresolved Karma. Emotions still run high. You may be feeling heavy, agitated, or squirming to escape day-to-day routine. Getting away from reality isn’t really possible, as Mercury now retraces its path, the territory covered since March 1, 2025, when it entered “Shadow” territory, and you are there for the ride!
What has been on your plate since then? Get ready for the Mercury Retrograde Realignment. You may need to look over, do over, or get over whatever came up for you.
WHY DO WE HAVE MERCURY RETROGRADE ANYWAY?
Technically, all planets appear to go backward at some point in their orbit if you are viewing from a stable position. If you are watching a 1000 meter race in a stadium, you’ll see the runners loop around an oval track. From your point of view, they go forward (direct), turn a corner (station), then return toward the start/finish line (retrograde), retracing the same space in your field of vision.
SO IT’S NOT PERSONAL?
No, it just feels like it, because as a personal planet, the Mercury archetype informs your current state of perception of the world around you. Mercury sees what’s going on and reports it to you, to others, to anyone who will listen. How you interpret the information is up to you. And although Mercury is thought of as androgynous, objective, and somewhat neutral, it is affected by the traits of the sign through which it is traveling.
MERCURY RETROGRADE REALIGNMENT ARIES
Fiery, spontaneous, impatient, passionate – Me First Aries is not a shrinking violet sign. Reversing course in Aries garbles the Mercurian message with trapped fury and frustrated outreach. It’s like a two year old trying to talk and not quite there yet. You could be clear for a microsecond on what you want to say or do, then watch your transmission dissolve in a fresh burst of hot idea sparks and emotionality.
Relationships are tough to navigate when communications are this impaired. 3/14/25 to 3/29/25.
MERCURY RETROGRADE REALIGNMENT PISCES
No Boundaries Pisces is Mercury’s least favorite sign, known as its detriment. Mercury wants direct clarity. Pisces encourages fuzzy, figurative expression.
Expect the communication woes to continue, with an additional layer of time expansion and contraction. 3/29/25 to 4/7/25.
BEST PRACTICES
Empaths and Psychics – set strong boundaries for the When and Type of vibes you want to receive and respond to. Sharpen your focus skills. What you see may not really be. Get tight with your prime Guides.
Practitioners and Healers – Same as for Empaths and Psychics, plus – seek your weakest link in your personal boundary protection and get healing around that. See another professional you trust, or get serious with this on your own.
HINT: Old scars can be awakened with renewed, painful wounds. You didn’t do anything “wrong,” you are healing a deeper layer. Get past the self-sabotage guilt and renew your self-care efforts!
