Heart Expansion Cancer Solstice 2023 – Shamanic Weather
You’ll feel the heart expansion with the Cancer Solstice on June 21, 2023. Outer You Sun crosses its northernmost point above the Earth (due our tilt and wobble, see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tropic_of_Cancer ) and initiates Summer in the Northern Hemisphere and Winter in the Southern.
The Mythos of this day wraps around the many cultures of the world with stories, rituals, celebrations, gift giving and expectations. The Sun will shift direction in the sky, changing the length of days and nights for the next six months. This year we have a particularly rich tapestry unfolding before us.
Solstice Gifts
When Empowerment King Jupiter and Stern TaskMaster Saturn sextile (positively activate) each other, good things flow! Jupiter is currently transiting (moving through) the Earthy Bull Taurus. He’s super-sizing all those Earthly gifts you would LOVE to ground. And Stern TaskMaster Saturn just stationed (stopped to change direction) retrograde (retracing steps) in No Boundaries Pisces, forcing us to slow down and plunge into the shadow waters where we keep those emotions and experiences we don’t want to swim through.
So Jupiter helps you ground while Saturn helps you clean your emotional messiness or avoidance. Together these two biggest planets in the sky want to help you make room for and receive all the Solstice gifts!

Heart Expansion
Love Goddess Venus is only 4° out from a perfect conjunction (alignment) with her Cosmic Lover, Mars in the Ever Romantic Lion Leo. The two flirt and tango in a protracted dance prior to consummation on August 13. We feel the pleasure/pain/tension of anticipation and desire, especially around romantic relationships, although this can apply to anything we are passionate about!

As the Sun crosses over the Tropic of Cancer it also conjuncts Juno, a major asteroid who represents commitment, partnership and fairness.
