Saturn Comes Home

After an arduous trek through the other eleven signs of the Zodiac, Stern Taskmaster Saturn comes home to practical, grounded Top Goat Capricorn.

We return to examine the basic foundation, the Earth layer, of our personal structure. We update our “rules.” Our studies (in any area) turn intensely serious. We feel a heavier weight of responsibility. A new level of discipline is available if you can get past your innate resistance to conforming to a schedule or regimen.

YEAH, YOU’RE NOT THE BOSS OF ME!

Nor do I want to be! I don’t want to “have” to do anything. But I am interested in mastery. I am willing to put in the effort to master a skill, a way of being in this world. So…often that requires calendaring activities. Saturn will help me do that and other non-shiny but highly worthy tasks in my life.

UGGGHHH

I know – the days around a transit are intense. Right now it’s like a hot mud bath, yet we’re cooled by the sobering realizations that arise when Saturn comes home.

WHAT???

All our heavenly aspects other than the Dragon’s Tail South Node are in Fire, Water or Earth signs. Fire, Water and Earth make hot mud – hot mud bath! Unleashed feelings, intense transformation, and grounding Earth Magic penetrate deeply.

OH THAT…

It does seem endless, doesn’t it? What’s magnificent is that today’s aspects are all positive. The only “downer” would be the actual transit of Saturn from Spicy Sagittarius to Industrious Capricorn. But, he likes it there in practical, grounded Capricorn.

WHAT SHOULD I DO?

There is an elegance to the Magical Procession of our astral aspects from Scorpio/Water to Sagittarius/Fire to Capricorn/Earth, a natural transformation (FIRE) taking the feelings (WATER) to the ground (EARTH). It’s quite the lineup of heavenly dignitaries crowding in one quadrant of the astrological charts!

So go with it! Continue to empty your mind and let the great darkness quiet your thoughts and empty your vessel, and be ready to receive deeply.
