By the light of the waxing Harvest Moon we celebrate the Fall and ask for right alignment with the element of fire.
The Fall is traditionally the time of fires here in Southern California. This year we have already had extensive damage along the Pacific Northwest in fires that have burned long and hard.
Once there was a time when the native peoples harnessed Fire Medicine. As stewards of the land they understood that there comes a time in the cycle of the Earth for fire to bring both a purging of the dead things and release of seeds for new growth.
And so together we tap into that ancient wisdom, asking for Fire Medicine to clear and heal us personally, and with prayer for any fire that might be a part of this time to be as gentle as possible.
Join us around the Fire Ring for ceremony and community.
What to Bring:
- Water
- Drum, Didge or Rattle (or borrow one of ours)
- Chair (We have some but usually more are needed)
- Jacket, dress in layers, it can get chilly
Opportunity for ‘smores: Roast marshmallows and build campfire treats as we complete our time together.
Experience healing and inspiration as you come into communion with the Pachamama – Mother Earth.
