What is Shamanism?
Shamanism is the framework we use to understand and navigate the unseen energetic world that surrounds us.
In each indigenous culture there has been the shaman, one who can see beyond the five senses and act on behalf of the tribe to intervene at the spiritual level.
Shamans tracked the hunt, healed the sick, prayed the rain, and brought counsel to the people and leaders of the tribe.
The practitioner has spirit guides or helpers that assist them, power animals that protect them, and an understanding of working within this world of energy and archetypes.
We track and heal emotional wounds, unhealthy relationships, loss of personal energy and motivation, and any other condition that is addressable at an energetic level.
Dr. Villoldo tells the story of the Western man and the tribal man. Both enter the jungle and are attacked by a jaguar and both miraculously survive.
The Western man gets a gun and learns how to shoot it to feel able to protect himself and be safe.
The tribal man goes to his shaman and asks, "what can I do to come back into ayni (right relationship) with jaguar energy?" For he understands that some part of him was out of alignment with the rest of life, leaving him vulnerable.
And so we learn to understand and work with the cycles of life and relationships, letting go of that crazy idea that we can control the world, We invite help from Spirit and undertake the path of healing.
When I was very young, I found myself talking to the animals, plants, the mountains and the wind. If I was upset and inconsolable, I'd climb a tree and tell it my woes, even in the rain. I remember running up and down the street, trailing a stick with a piece of yarn in the rain gutters, singing to the rainbows. This was normal for me but regarded as fanciful and perhaps even weird by my family. Later in my life I discovered I was doing something quite natural and sane, just not typical for someone raised in a twentieth century American family.
Indigenous peoples throughout the world have held our Earth Mother, the Stars, the Elements and all living things in great reverence as a part of daily life. In the Shaman's eyes, everything is animated, all part of the One. Shamans have refined their senses beyond the five well known, found ways to journey through the different worlds of life, and use their intent and vision to heal and change the world.
Through my studies and training I learned that I am a Shaman at heart. I have used Shamanism for personal healing and development. Now as a Shamanic Practitioner, I move through the different levels of life and death to bring healing for my clients. I can work through the level of the Soul/Spirit to bring healing in the Emotional, Mental and Physical layers for my clients. I invite you to join me in

are powerful animal guides showing you how you can breathe your way toward connection with your Higher Self and the Divine.
Soul Retrieval can be a life-changing experience and I advise anyone considering Soul Retrieval to be aware that when we grow and heal, our jobs, relationships and living circumstances may alter accordingly!
From the moment we are born we are exposed to situations that can bring about soul loss. In speaking of the soul I am referring to that essential life force energy we incarnate with, all that is our personal being in spirit now anchored in a physical body.
How do we lose pieces of our soul? Parts can leave when we experience trauma at birth, accidents, illness, near death experiences, death of a loved one, divorce, repeated emotional/physical abuse, molestation, rape, sudden shocks or witnessing events such as these. These parts leave as a survival mechanism in the face such stress and generally the big parts don't come back without assistance. In the Western world you may draw a parallel to this experience with dissociation.
What happens when we lose soul parts? Our life force energy is diminished and we become vulnerable, literally feeling that “hole in our soul.” We may try to fill that hole with other energy, such as food or sex or mind-altering substances, addictive relationships or behaviors, or other people's soul parts. Any or all of these ways we try to regain our lost energy can drive a self-perpetuating downward spiral as more stress creates more soul loss.
Healing at the energetic level begins with returning you to wholeness, your missing soul parts returned to you. Soul Retrieval complements any other self-healing program you may choose.
What I do is go into shamanic reality and find those parts for you and ask them to come back. There will be some significant parts, and many smaller ones. I may bring you the story of each part, or not, as is appropriate.
If you have “privacy shields” up, which means something is not for me to view, that's fine as the Guides do the work behind the scenes and the parts are still restored.
I bring back as many parts as will come in the First Session.
Additional parts return spontaneously after your session as they are attracted to your growing integrity. I will also retrieve at least one Power Animal for you and connect you with a higher being, whom I call Star Beings. Both provide extra protection and the opportunity for you to become a master of your own destiny.
I have had people report tingling, pulling, see visions of their own or fall asleep and snore. For most the process is deeply relaxing. Many people experience emotional release in tears or other profound feelings in the weeks that follow. This is a natural result of the reclamation process – the feelings are coming through. I advise my clients to simply sit with them, let them flow through, not make themselves wrong or bad, and allow the integration to be a sacred process.
